Well, at least I can say that in addition to sharing religious background, my daughter and Ella Blue Travolta also share favorite books!
From the CNNMarquee Blog:
Proud parents John Travolta and Kelly Preston are showing off their new bundle of joy for the latest issue of People magazine, in which son Benjamin — born November 23 — stars in his first-ever photo shoot.
"He’s given the house a renewed spirit and purpose," says 56-year-old Travolta, who tells People he enjoys serenading the infant with "A Bushel and a Peck" from the musical "Guys and Dolls."
The couple had been trying to add to their family for three years, and 48-year-old Preston admits she was "completely blown away" when she learned she was pregnant last year.
Still, the duo were more than prepared for baby Ben’s arrival. Travolta held Preston’s hand throughout the delivery while pal Kirstie Alley waited outside the room with their 10-year-old daughter, Ella Blue.
Ella is already loving her role as a big sister: Besides showering Ben with hugs, she reads him bedtime stories, including "Goodnight, Gorilla."
Goodnight Gorilla has been my daughter’s favorite book since she was about 6 months old. Perhaps now I need to learn “A Bushel and a Peck” to answer my earlier question about songs!
