I usually try to be somewhat more profound in my posts, but this is (for me at least) similar to when we first caught her on video crawling — maybe not the same order of magnitude, but close.
My 21-month-old daughter surprised my wife & l last week by, all of the sudden, belting out the entirety of “Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star” all on her own, and we’ve been trying to catch her in the act on video ever since then. Well, my wife succeeded tonight, which is the video you get above.
Probably 75% of our discourse during car rides happens to be singing, so it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise to us that she’d just start singing like that – but still is a nice demonstration of her fairly advanced toddler verbosity.
